P1-Photoshop Background Change and Blemish Removal

I liked changing the background because you get to have something instead of an all black background. I did not like how sometimes the tool to delete the image would mess up sometimes.

This is helpful to know for if you had something you didn't want shown in the picture, you could easily take it out.

P1-Photoshop Self Portrait

For this print, I used the painting tool on Photoshop to create different aspects on my face. I used the cropping tool the crop out the studio light and I used the brightening tool to make the picture a little darker.

P1-Lighting-DSLR

I chose this picture because it was a good use of overhead lighting. The lighting isn't too hard so the subject is looking up indicating the overhead lighting.

P1-Panning-DSLR

I printed a picture of the subject in motion. I used the shutter speed 1/60 to get the background not very blurry but still having the subject clear.

P1-Scavenger Hunt/Studio Portrait

I really liked using the digital camera. I like how you can see the pictures before you have to develop or upload them rather than the 35mm film camera which you have to wait and see if the picture is good or not.
This photo has a nice, dark shadow across half of the subjects face by shining a studio light on one side of the subject's face.

This photo has a nice variety of different lines. The icicle casts a shadow on the wooden bench behind it.

P1-35mm People & Light/Shadow

For this picture, I used Christmas lights to create areas of both light and shadow on the walls behind it.
